We decorated a New Zealand Christmas (pohutukawa) tree during yesterday mornings session. The light was so beautiful and the beach empty except for a bunch of brave swimmers.

I do. Very much.
A HUGE special thank you to friends who welcome us into their homes each Belgian visit (especially Sarah and Co, I feel like I have a second home).
Introducing one of those wonderful friends, my “party in Antwerp” friend, beautiful Katty.
Bed and Breakfast Sitting {Belgium Family Photographer}September 5th, 2010Is really so much fun! Up early to prepare the table, cook breakfast, dishes, room tidying then in the office gazing out the grapes growing outside the window and beautiful flowers and butterflies. Frogs, froglettes and lilypads jumping around the pond. Hope I get to photograph a family session here one day. Sorry for my [...] |

Sorry for my absence. I have been battling computer viruses. I think the enemy has been defeated and sorry for anyone that was attacked in the meantime. Avast! is apparently the free virus protector of the wise and knowing and seems to be keeping me safe since it has been installed.
Still have a few bugs to fix. I’m not sure if it’s possible yet to comment on posts.
In the meantime, a bit of b&b goodness.
Brussels, 1amAugust 13th, 2010Working over the St Gilles rooftops. It’s amazing how quiet the city is in August. |

Not long before we’re off on more european adventures. On our way home from our last Belgium trip, we were sitting on a train in London and my son was amazed to hear people speaking english. “Mummy I didn’t know they speak english in England!?!” he exclaimed. Beautiful.
Location LocationApril 20th, 2010I’m looking for fabulous locations preferably a field of wild flowers that can be stomped through (I know, I don’t ask for much)… both Auckland and Brussels. Fields, old beautiful farmhouses etc. Anything open and picturesque. Preferably north of Auckland city. I’ll send a Cafe Windsor voucher for coffee and cake to any successful leads |

I was thrilled to be asked by Katherine at Oxfam to photograph the Oxfam Corporate Water Challenge. A fantastic event to raise funds for Oxfam Water for Survival projects which provide water, sanitation and health education to people in poverty. Currently they are working in East Timor, Vanuatu, Tanzania, PNG, Bougainville, and restoration work in Samoa after the Tsunami. More information is available at www.oxfam.org.nz/water.
Was great fun to shoot, here are a “few” of my favs ….
Fish and Chip ShopFebruary 23rd, 2010Love summer. Long balmy summers. There are a few sessions left in March. Grab them quick before we have to wrap up in layers of clothing, shivering beside the skinny little bar heaters. Carefree colourful summer days are still here! |
Get your girl to say yesFebruary 6th, 2010Some inspiration given the 14th is heading our way. If no inspiration needed, look on anyway. Secretly filmed, it’s a good tear jerker, incredibly sweet and seriously, what a guy. Casey proposes to Amy from One Small Instrument Pictures on Vimeo. |
