Aren’t they stunning ! Looks like they stepped out of a fashion magazine. So proud of clients who somehow manage to come up with awesome wardrobes that work so well together. Not easy but everyone somehow manages to do an amazing job on the day. They had family from Christchurch visiting for the weekend so great opportunity for them to be included. Gave my heart a pang of sadness for my only child when I first saw the sibling shots come up on my computer, a gorgeous love and connection captured that evening. But squeal, this beautiful spot is my new #1 fav!

For the last year and a half, I, other school mum’s and friends of school mum’s have been creating a school recipe book. We are all very proud of the result – a mix of great recipes from different cultures, beautiful illustrations and um clear throat, lovely yummy photos :) There were thousands of photos taken for this project so to finally have a finished tangible book in hand is real happiness. It is getting tons of great feedback and they are being snapped up for Christmas presents. I’ve already tried Maud’s Biscotti – it was EASY and tasted so good.

They drove to me (Paris to Brussels) for their first session (see here) so it was now time for me to travel to them (south of france by the beach). Um, ok :) The invite was extended to my son, even better, love to mix work and play. What a gorgeous mini break we had. First night we had the session on a beautiful summers evening and dinner out by the beach. That left the entire second day to boogie board, chat and read on the beach. Bliss. Nadia’s Dad came down from Paris so he could be included, love that he was there.

Maybe next year NZ? I won’t complain about another trip to the lovely french coast anyway…

ps: One of these lovely images won me an award at the Iris Professional Photographer Awards 2012 :)

Eek look at this church! This most gorgeous child about to be baptised has so much character, I adore the image where he attempts to catch the candle flame. Such a stunning setting for a beautiful ceremony. So love what they are wearing too. Perfect.
