Not long before Santa arrives, much excitement, every sound in the house at the moment is folllowed by a small voice shouting “I heard Santa!”.

Hopefully all sunny predictions come true so new outdoor Christmas toys can be enjoyed. If you have a spare Christmas Day moment, there is a scene from “The End of the Golden Weather” being performed at 10am on Takapuna beach. All donations are going to Oxfam.

Wishing everyone plenty of happiness and love this Christmas.

If feels like the rain will never end. Just when I started to believe the sun always shone on this side of the world.
We have spent so much time at the beach already and the holidays have only just begun. I am trying to remember to always leave a towel in the car as a quick stop on the way home more often than not turns into a quick dip.

This beautiful mum is another working on european time. We’ve had more than a couple email conversations after midnight!
Hoping to repeat the fun evening beach bike ride again soon … if the rain ever dries up.

New Zealand Christmas Tree {Auckland Child Photographer}

We decorated a New Zealand Christmas (pohutukawa) tree during yesterday mornings session. The light was so beautiful and the beach empty except for a bunch of brave swimmers.
