Archive for April, 2010

After a long wait in Singapore (around 12 hours and worries about what volcanic ash was doing to create so many engineering problems), we finally made it to London late Sunday and arrived in Belgium a day later. Spring is in the air and the trees are blooming (must get a pic of the gorgeous cherry blossom trees, I’m looking at one in Sarah’s back yard right now). Gorgeous for session pics!

In the meantime, another from Di and Brad’s wedding. Full post very soon!

Location Location

April 20, 2010

I’m looking for fabulous locations preferably a field of wild flowers that can be stomped through (I know, I don’t ask for much)… both Auckland and Brussels. Fields, old beautiful farmhouses etc. Anything open and picturesque. Preferably north of Auckland city.

I’ll send a Cafe Windsor voucher for coffee and cake to any successful leads :)

I was supposed to fly off to Belgium today but am one of the many grounded. All european sessions next week will be postponed until … they let us in.

Which gave me a moment to post a quick preview before they fly out on their (surprise for Di) honeymoon tomorrow. Well we think they’re flying out. Brad didn’t seem too concerned about volcanoes erupting so I guess it’s not europe ; )

More on this gorgeous wedding soon… the first below reminds me so much of the Italian countryside. Huge thank you to West Brook Winery for providing the beautiful backdrop for the bridal party pictures.

Sigh. Here they are. Mr and Mrs.

One gorgeous family including three gorgeous girls for an amazing beach session. We had such a fun time hanging out. The girls were incredibly good given we didn’t finish until 7.30pm (to get the gorgeous summer evening light)!. Was absolutely worth it.

What better way to celebrate than by drinking bubbles and having your (and your lovelies) portrait taken! The colours, furniture and setting of this house are a photographers dream, let alone the gorgeous models… dream images.

Happy 40th Jane!
