For Lizzy

This is the most amazing set of fields close to Lizzy and Alan’s home in northern England. I wish I could pack them in my suitcase and bring them to every shoot. I also wish Lizzy was no longer ill. More than a million beautiful fields, we wish you well again Lizzy. We are thinking of you on this side of the world and send lots of love your way.

Some pics from my visit last September. Sarah and Alan and Wilbur and I.

I was thrilled to be asked by Katherine at Oxfam to photograph the Oxfam Corporate Water Challenge. A fantastic event to raise funds for Oxfam Water for Survival projects which provide water, sanitation and health education to people in poverty. Currently they are working in East Timor, Vanuatu, Tanzania, PNG, Bougainville, and restoration work in Samoa after the Tsunami. More information is available at www.oxfam.org.nz/water.

Was great fun to shoot, here are a “few” of my favs ….

Lalitha and Joey had such a wonderful heartwarming wedding. The weather was PERFECT all day. The started with a beautiful ceremony at the Anglican Parish of Kohimarama, then lots of fun capturing their family and friends in the church garden, then over to Long Bay for fun pics on the beach, and finally to Long Bay Restaurant for the reception. Incredible setting and a gorgeous evening.

My second shooter/assistant on the day Meg was fantastic. Was great to see a second angle on the important shots, she had some great captures which will really add to their album.

Thank you so much Lalitha and Joey, to you both and your families for welcoming us and allowing us to be part of your day, which was absolutely beautiful and magical.
